VBS 2025 Recap: Mountain of Miracles
July 23–26, 2025
by Belkys Gomez
Our “Mountain of Miracles” Vacation Bible School, held from July 23 to 26, was truly a blessing from start to finish! Each night, we welcomed 20 to 30 enthusiastic children who came ready to learn, laugh, and grow in faith. The church was filled with the joyful sound of children singing, praying, and discovering how God works miracles in our lives.

Throughout the week, the kids enjoyed a variety of arts and crafts that tied into the nightly lessons, allowing them to use their creativity to express what they were learning. One of the highlights was the appearance of Rainy the Raven, brought to life by Pedro Jadhiel and Abigail Serrano, who delivered fun and meaningful lessons in a way that had the children laughing, thinking, and connecting with the message.

Each night, families were blessed with heartfelt messages, delicious meals, and snacks, thanks to the incredible support of our hospitality team. Beyond the food and activities, what truly stood out was witnessing our young participants sing with joy and even share heartfelt testimonies—moments that touched the hearts of volunteers and parents alike.
We are incredibly grateful for the dedicated volunteers who gave their time, talents, and love to make this program a success. A special thank you to our VBS leader, Katie Serrano, whose vision, leadership, and tireless effort helped bring “Mountain of Miracles” to life.
As we reflect on this unforgettable week, we are reminded of the importance of planting seeds of faith in the hearts of our children. Their joy, curiosity, and trust in God inspire us all to believe in His power to do the impossible.
“Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” —Luke 18:16 (NIV)
We can’t wait to see where God leads us next! Mark your calendars and plan to join us next year for another amazing VBS adventure filled with faith, fun, and unforgettable memories. Until then, may we continue to nurture and support our children as they grow in Christ.
