Excitement is building as the Montgomery First SDA Church prepares for this year’s Vacation Bible School, Mountain of Miracles, happening July 23–26! The VBS team has been working with heart and purpose, transforming classrooms into mountain trails and miracle zones where children will experience the incredible power of Jesus.

Each day, kids will embark on a new journey through Bible stories that showcase Jesus' miracles—from calming the storm to healing the sick and feeding thousands. Through interactive storytelling, music, crafts, games, and hands-on activities, children will learn how God’s power still changes lives today.

Volunteers have come together with dedication and joy to bring Mountain of Miracles to life, covering every detail from decorating and preparing snacks to managing registration and lifting the program in prayer. The team’s mission is to create a safe, welcoming, and spiritually rich environment where children feel loved, supported, and inspired to trust God as they face life’s mountains.

Led by a passionate and energetic team, the VBS crew has been busy turning classrooms into scenic mountain trails, complete with peaks, tents, and miracle stations. Cardboard rocks, hiking gear, and vibrant banners now fill the space, fully immersing the church in the theme. Behind the scenes, volunteers are finalizing Bible lessons, rehearsing worship songs, assembling activity kits, preparing snacks, and setting up safety protocols—all to ensure that every child has a fun, meaningful, and memorable experience.

Church leaders and the security team are informed about safety measures to be implemented for VBS and church worship services overall.

“It’s more than just a program,” shared one VBS leader. “We want each child to experience the wonder of Jesus’ love and the power of His miracles.”

Daily themes will guide children through stories of hope, healing, and trust. From the calming of the storm to feeding the five thousand, each miracle will point kids to a Savior who still works wonders today.

With prayer, preparation, and plenty of teamwork, the Mountain of Miracles VBS is set to be a life-changing climb. The countdown has begun—and everyone is invited to come along for the adventure!
